Advertise with coolstandings.com and you can promote your message and products to
passionate fans of Major League Baseball, the NBA, and the NFL. In addition to traditional
banner, button, and text based ads, we offer special advertising opportunities to sports

How do you charge for advertising space?
We sell space on a CPM (Cost Per Thousand) basis. For example, ad space for $10 CPM indicates that we
charge $10 for every thousand impressions of your advertisement.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes. The minimum purchase is 5,000 impressions for a single month.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes. We offer a discount on CPM for longer term commitments. Generally, CPM is discounted
by about 10% for a 3-month term, about 25% for a 6-month term, and about 40% for a 12-month term.
Exact rates are found below.
In addition, we offer discounts for larger numbers of impressions. Specifically, the CPM
is reduced by 10% for 10,000 monthly impressions and 20% for 20,000 monthly impressions.
What type of advertisements are available?
We offer traditional 468x60 banner ads, 120x120 button ads, and text ads. Ads may be
run-of-site (ROS), targeted to a particular sport, or targeted to a particular team or
page within coolstandings.com.

What is run-of-site?
Run-of-site (ROS) ads may run on any page within coolstandings.com. These ads typically
have the lowest CPM because they are not targeted to a specific sport or team.
What can I use for advertisement images?
The images may be animated, but should be 15kBytes in size or smaller. We do reserve the
right to reject any advertisement material for any reason.
What about text based ads?
Text links are located near the top of the right-hand pane, below the Google search window
and above the Google Ads. One text ad is available per page, with a title (25 chars max),
two description lines (35 chars max each), and a URL line (35 chars max).
Fonts are chosen to distinguish the text ads from the Google Ads. The rates for the
text ads are identical to those for the 468x60 banner ads.

Does the minimum charge apply to each individual advertisement?
No. You can pool together impressions for different ads to reach a desired impression
count. For example, you can place an order for 5,000 total impressions targeted to specific
teams, and provide us with 30 unique ads (one for each team). This works well with text
based ads, where we can dynamically adjust the ad text based on the team page.

We accept PayPal or credit card.
